Laurent discovered a passion for wine whilst backpacking through Australia in his younger days, holding down several jobs in wineries in there.
On returning to France, he decided to make winemaking a career and undertook studies in oenology. Laurent first discovered Domaine de
l’Amandine whilst carry out an internship at our winery in 1995. Diploma in his backpocket, he set off to discover “new world wines” working principally in Oregon.
10 years spent working in the Gard region, notably for the wine cooperative in Lunel gave Laurent much on-hand experience. With Domaine de l’Amandine since 2009, Laurent has managed to marry his modern wine making knowledge with the more traditional ways of the Rhône to elaborate modern yet authentic wines – What more can we ask for !
